Introducing the Matthew Aycock Maker’s Grant

Purpose: Honor the memory of Matthew Aycock

Grant Structure: 3 months free membership to a member of 10BitWorks Makerspace. 3 grants given per year, one month between each grant to allow the write up of the previous grant and the submission process for the next grant.

Who Qualifies for the Grant: 

  1. Those who are a frequently present and involved member.

  2. Those who demonstrate financial need and submit a compelling project proposal to improve 10Bit or improve the standing of 10Bit (i.e. creative projects that will demonstrate to the public what kinds of cool/interesting/inspiring/challenging work is being done at 10Bit)

  3. Those who submit a compelling project proposal to improve 10Bit or improve the standing of 10Bit (i.e. creative projects that will demonstrate to the public what kinds of cool/interesting/inspiring/challenging work is being done at 10Bit)

Those selected must fulfill at least requirement #1

Participant Deliverables: Grantees must document their project and time at 10Bit and agree to be part of a maker/project profile. 


How the Program will be managed: Participants will be cut a check for $60 each month they provide documentation of their project/participation at 10Bit.
