General info on the net

10BitWorks runs a roundtable discussion net on AARO's repeaters every Wednesday at 8pm local time. The net is a roundtable discussion about things generally of technical nature or of interest to 10bitworks and other net participants. We'll also list any upcoming events/classes/activities.

The AARO repeater frequencies we'll be using are as follows:

  • 2m: 147.38 MHz + offset and 162.2 Hz sub-audible tone
  • 70cm: 443.875 MHz + offset and 162.2 Hz sub-audible tone

The 2m and 70cm machines are linked together, providing cross-band 2m-70cm/70cm-2m operation as well as the normal 2m-2m and 70cm-70cm operation. The repeaters are located in downtown San Antonio, TX and cover most of San Antonio and Bexar County.

Eventually we plan to broadcast the audio from the net on the internet for those out of town or without the appropriate radio gear.

If you have any suggestions or comments, please send them to our mailing list or to the "officers" via 10bitworks at gmail dot com.
